It’s not About ME it’s About WE

When I went to my first condo association meeting several years ago. The board President said, “ you know when you live in a condo it’s not about me it’s about we”.

I liked that saying so much that I’m borrowing it.

The same holds true for our elected officials. We need to be careful to elect candidates that are not just looking to boost their egos, or use elected offices as a stepping stone.

Ambition is good as it leads to accomplishment; however elected office should not be viewed as a career advancement it’s a responsibility to serve.
