One of my favorite lessons in business school was learning about disruptors. Every industry has barriers to entry. Some higher than others. Disruptors break through the barriers to entry through innovation!
Government is definitely no exception, and the barriers are high. As a first time candidate and full-time employee outside of government and elected office the barriers are: Name Recognition, lack of resources/connections, not yet being considered “newsworthy” by the press/information gatekeepers.
We are acting in the role of disruptors. We are bringing innovation to campaigning in Lake County and will bring that same spirit to County Government.
